BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) - Southern University football coach Terrence Graves says its business as usual.

This was the first time Graves spoke since Southern Athletics Director Roman Banks hinted at coaching changes after the team's 24-3 defeat to Prairie View A&M University.

With that loss, the Jaguars are 1-6 on the season. Southern was a pre-season pick to win the SWAC Western Division title.

Graves says he's focused on his role as coach.

"We've talked, we've always had, we had conversations every week, and we talked and, as I said, as of right now, I'm the head football coach at so, business as usual, you know, I'm doing a conference call. When I get off here, I'm headed to do the coaching show. We'll have meetings tonight. We have practice tonight, like we do every Monda
