(FOX40.COM) — Stockton Mayor Christina Fugazi's home was hit by a bullet from a nearby shooting early Saturday morning, the mayor's office said Monday.

According to the mayor's office, the mayor was asleep when the shooting occurred around 1:56 a.m. No one inside the home was injured.

On Saturday, the Stockton Police Department reported that two people, a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old, sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a shooting that morning at 1:56 a.m. near the 1300 Block of North Lincoln Street.
