If you follow me on these MNF threads, you know how much I love these doubleheaders. If not, then I’ll just say I don’t love them and be nice about it.
Tonight, the only nice aspect is how the games are less likely to overlap like they have in previous prime time doubleheaders. The first will be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road against the Detroit Lions. That should be a super fun game, which means it’ll end up being a low scoring and sloppy affair. Seems to be how it goes.
The second game is much later and will feature two teams few of us care about. The Houston Texans will be on the road against the Seattle Seahawks. With the Denver Broncos playing the Texans in a few weeks, I suppose it can’t hurt to have them lose. They are playing the Seahawks though, so I think I’ll be rooting
