WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A man who police say was caught on video forcibly taking a woman in Wichita has been charged.

On Monday, the 22-year-old man was charged with aggravated domestic battery, two counts of domestic battery and criminal restraint. He is also being held on an immigration detainer, according to the Sedgwick County Jail.

He remains in jail on a $75,000 bond and is due back in court on Nov. 3.

Earlier this month, the Wichita Police Department shared a Ring doorbell video showing a woman being taken by force.

The homeowner who captured the footage did not recognize either person, and the video quickly went viral. Crime Stoppers even offered a $2,000 reward for information leading to their identification.
