The Park City Police Department received several reports of collisions between drivers and wildlife in disparate locations.

The prevention of wildlife collisions in the Park City area has long been a challenge, and there are regular reports to the police about accidents.

The recent cases included: • On Friday, Oct. 17, at 11:01 p.m., a driver contacted the police informing the agency that they had collided with a deer. The accident occurred in the area of the Park City Cemetery. The cemetery is along Kearns Boulevard, but public police logs did not identify that street as the location. • On Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 11:11 p.m., a driver hit a deer in the area of Marsac Avenue and Hillside Avenue.
