The Park City Police Department in mid-October logged several cases involving suspected homelessness, including in the Main Street core.

Officers also checked various locations for people staying in those places.

Homelessness is not widespread in Park City, but the Police Department regularly logs cases. Resources for the homeless in Park City or surrounding Summit County are limited.

The cases included: • On Saturday, Oct. 18, at 10:17 a.m., a person suspected to be homeless was reportedly seen in the area of the China Bridge garage. The person was “sleeping in the bushes” and had a blanket, the police were told.
