YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - A Youngstown Church has stood for nearly a century and is now getting some much-needed attention.

The work is being done by no ordinary craftsman but a parishioner who's carrying a family tradition that goes back generations. Replacing the trim and sealing the plexiglass that protects the stained glass windows at St. Patrick Church in Youngstown isn't just another job for George Schuler.

"The glass of this time period is a magnificent example of craftsmanship," Schuler said. "They're gorgeous. That's the reason it's important. I've always done a lot to help the church. But this is just one other thing."
