MOUNT DORA, Fla. – The Mount Dora City Council could move toward implementing parking solutions for downtown Mount Dora during Tuesday’s city council meeting.

Shops, galleries and restaurants line the streets of downtown Mount Dora, but a lack of parking presents a set of challenges for people.

“If I try to come around dinner time or on a weekend, it’s another story,” said Mount Dora resident Kathleen Leonard.

“You gotta kinda be strategic as to what times you come down here,” said Sorrento resident Janea Knowles.

It’s a known issue in the area and one that is talked about often.
