MACON, Ga. — A Saturday night shooting on East Williams Street in Macon left three people dead, and the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is now calling on the public to help solve the case.
According to the sheriff’s office, the first 911 call came in around 10:30 p.m., reporting a man shot on Williams Street. The victim, identified as Quantayrias Townsend, 27, was taken to Piedmont hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Roughly 30 minutes later, deputies responded to another call in the 500 block of Williams Street and found two more victims — Brandon Thomas, 21, and Markell Bonner Jr., 16, both suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Bibb County Chief Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley pronounced them dead at the scene.
