SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -It was a busy day at Feeding South Dakota, where volunteers packed more than just food - they packed hope for their neighbors who needed it most.
Every box filled inside the organization’s Sioux Falls warehouse represented a family that wouldn’t go hungry. For both staff and volunteers, that mission hit close to home.
Feeding South Dakota Eastern volunteer coordinator Alyssa Albrecht said she understands the challenges of food insecurity firsthand.
