A week after the first firing of an NFL head coach in the 2025 season, a legendary Seattle Seahawks receiver who has been falling out of said coach’s gameplan has been let go.

Tyler Lockett requested and has since been granted his release by the Tennessee Titans on Monday,

The Titans were the worst team in football in 2024, drafted QB Cam Ward first overall, and again look like the worst team in the league. After criticism by their own quarterback, the firing of Callahan, a 1-6 start and a lopsided loss to their former head coach (Mike Vrabel), the vibes could hardly be much worse in the volunteer state. On top of that, Tyler Lockett has only been able to contribute 10 catches for 70 yards in Callahan and Ward’s offense.
