LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - On Oct. 20, 1917, the first Model A rolled off the production line.

But, it wasn’t ready for purchase that day. The public didnt’ see the car until Dec. 2 of that year.

The vehicle is considered the less-famous, but still high-quality successor to the Model T.

It sold roughly 5 million units.
