DALLAS — An estimated two million people attended the State Fair of Texas this year, marking one of the lowest years for attendance in a decade.

After thin crowds prompted questions about State Fair attendance this year, we now have official numbers to compare with years past. In 2025, the State Fair of Texas welcomed more than 2 million people through the gates of Fair Park, fair officials said in a press release.

Last year, about 2.38 million people attended the fair.

That is one of the lowest attendance records in the last decade. Midway through the year, a video depicting sparse crowds drew social media comments expressing frustration over the cost of the fair.
