Remembrance Day is on Tuesday, November 11, commemorating the anniversary of the end of World War I.

It's a time to honour the armed forces members who died in the line of duty.

East Maitland RSL sub-branch will host its Remembrance Day service at 10.30am at the East Maitland War Memorial, on the corner of William Street and New England Highway.

The guest speaker will be Lieutenant Caleb Stuckey, Long Tan PL from School of Infantry, Singleton.

The catafalque party will also be from the School of Infantry, Singleton.

Maitland RSL sub-branch's Remembrance Day service will begin at 10.30am at the Maitland Park war memorial.
