BOSSIER PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office brings on board one new deputy, and two young corrections officers who hope to one day step up to the plate.

Sheriff Whittington administered the oath of office to Deputy Chelsea Jackson, and welcomed aboard Andrew Cogdill and Audrey Jordan who were both hired as corrections officers.

Andrew and Audrey each aspire to become deputies once they reach the age of 21.

Sheriff Whittington congratulated the new employees and commended them for their commitment to serving the people of Bossier Parish. “We are proud to have these young people join our team. They are starting their careers in public service and I’m confident they will make a positive impact in our community.”
