Tyler police take 1 into custody after ‘slow-speed’ chase with man in white pickup near downtown

Our reporter at the scene says the suspect is in a white truck, and police tried to communicate with him to get him to get out of the truck and speak with them. Then, shortly before 8 p.m., the man fled from police in the truck, triggering a slow-speed chase around Tyler.
