Mayor pushes back on ‘fear mongering’ as Ann Arbor puts growth plan out for review

ANN ARBOR, MI — After over two years of planning work and heated community debate , Ann Arbor’s plan for denser, mixed-use neighborhoods is nearing completion.

City Council voted 10-0 Monday night, Oct. 20, to release the 167-page comprehensive land-use plan for a formal 63-day public review and comment period before it comes back to the Planning Commission and council for final adoption.
