EUGENE — Oregon’s running back rotation will be shorter for at least the near future.
Jayden Limar , who missed last week’s game at Rutgers with an unspecified injury, will remain out.
“He’s going to be out for a little bit,” Oregon coach Dan Lanning said, “but I don’t anticipate it being a really long time.”
Limar has 42 carries for 249 yards and three touchdowns and eight catches for 54 yards this season.
Despite his absence, the Ducks rushed for 415 yards and four touchdowns on just 36 carries against Rutgers. Noah Whittington (125 yards, two touchdowns) and Jordon Davison (100 yards, one touchdown) each topped 100 yards while Dierre Hill Jr. (62 yards, one touchdown) and Dante Moore each also averaged over 10 yards per carry.
Jay Harris and Da’Jaun Riggs also played in the second
