Leading landscape designer Paul Bangay’s country estate in Victoria is back on the market, two years after a high-profile deal fell through.
Stonefields is a dreamy Tuscan-inspired escape in the hills near Daylesford that Bangay has previously called his “life’s greatest work”.
Over twenty years, Bangay transformed a cow paddock into an extraordinary garden with sweeping lawns, oak avenues, and 4000 individual tulips.
Now the estate is on the market for expressions of interest, with a price guide of $6 million to $6.6 million.
This is not the first time Stonefields has been listed for sale.
In 2023, the property was nearly purchased by celebrity gardener Jamie Durie through the tourism consortium Opulus Hotels.
