LOS ANGELES — Tanner Scott’s problems are behind him and he expects to be ready to rejoin the Dodgers’ active roster for the World Series.

The left-handed reliever was dropped from the roster after Game 3 of the National League Division Series when he had to have an abscess excision on his lower body. The move made him ineligible for the NL Championship Series but he is eligible to be part of the World Series roster.

“It was just an infection, bad timing,” Scott said. “I feel healthy. I definitely feel a lot better than I did coming off that Phillies series and I wasn’t feeling great.”

Scott didn’t pitch during the Dodgers’ two-game sweep of the Cincinnati Reds in the Wild Card Series or the first three games of that NLDS. His last appearance was Sept. 26 during the Dodgers’ final r
