LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A man is dead after a two-vehicle crash in the Algonquin neighborhood Monday night.

Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the intersection of W Lee Street and McCloskey Avenue around 7:40 p.m. about the crash.

Police said a woman driving a pickup truck ran a stop sign and hit a man in a Mustang. This cause the Mustang to hit another vehicle parked nearby.

The man driving the mustang was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police did not say if the woman was injured.

LMPD's Traffic Unit is leading the investigation and charges are pending against the woman.
