Anupam Kher has expressed his grief after the passing of veteran actor-director Govardhan Asrani, fondly known as Asrani. He thanked him for making the world a better place, and also recalled the conversation they had just last week. He revealed that Asrani had expressed interest in conducting a masterclass at Kher’s acting school. Asrani passed away in Mumbai on Monday after a prolonged illness at the age of 84.

Anupam Kher took to X (formerly Twitter) to mourn the death of Asrani. In his caption, he expressed his heartbreak over the news of his death, and wrote, “Dearest #AsraniJi!
