A man who police say led them to a "notorious" accused childcare molester has been charged with additional sex crimes, it can be revealed after a failed secrecy bid.
Michael Simon Wilson, 36, lost an attempt to suppress his case and its alleged links to Joshua Brown on Tuesday.
The failed secrecy bid included an attempt to conceal fresh charges laid earlier in October that related to alleged offending in 2018.
Wilson is accused of eight fresh offences, including four charges of rape and allegations he detained a woman against her will and kept her under surveillance with the intention of causing her physical or mental harm, according to charge sheets released after the hearing.
