MADISON, Wis. --- The countdown is on—Wisconsin men's basketball season starts just two weeks. This season is particularly notable as it marks the first time since 2016, excluding the COVID year, that the Badgers have been ranked in the preseason AP poll, landing at number 24.
However, transfer forward Austin Rapp believes this ranking doesn't do the team justice. "As we've seen, we've been ranked 24, which is obviously pretty cool, but I don't think that's where we're gonna end up. I think we're going to surprise a lot of people, shock a lot of people. I think that the sky's the limit for this team. I love people saying that, but I'm looking forward to kind of putting it to fruition and putting it into play," said Rapp.
The Badgers are gearing up to begin their regular season on Monday,
