Lansing — A nonprofit seeking to provide behavioral health services to Yemeni immigrants received a six-figure earmark in this year's state budget, marking the the fifth consecutive year the group has received funding, despite failing to file federal tax returns that reflect those taxpayer-funded grants.

The last tax document the National Association of Yemeni Americans, with offices in Hamtramck and Dearborn, filed with the Internal Revenue Service was in tax year 2021, when it indicated it had less than $50,000 in revenue.
