MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A driver is facing several charges after allegedly side swiping a bicyclist on Sunday night, the Madison Police Department reported Monday.

According to MPD, a call came in for a crash involving a bicyclist at the intersection of Williamson Street and Blount Street.

When officers arrived at the crash, they learned a vehicle hit the bicyclist as it was driving through the intersection.

The cyclist was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, MPD stated.

Police later received another call for a vehicle stuck on railroad trackers near Paterson Street.
