MERCED COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The mugshot for one of the three burglary suspects involved in a shootout with deputies early Thursday morning has been released.

The sheriff’s office says Le Grand's 35-year-old Roman Naranjo, picured below, escaped uninjured.

According to deputies, Naranjo and two others were accused of breaking into an apartment along the 3800 block of Washington Avenue in Le Grand around 2 a.m.

Once deputies arrived, they say they were met by gunfire from the suspects. A gunfight ensued, and deputies say two of Naranjos accomplices were struck.

Naranjo was arrested, and the other two suspects were transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
