SHREVEPORT, La. - Six months after a devastating house fire claimed the lives of two young sisters, the community at Turner Elementary School is hit with another loss -- two sisters pulled from a house fire last week were also Turner students.

Danielle Spearman, 5, and Aliyah Robinson, 9, died from their injuries over the weekend.

“These babies still liked school and that’s one thing that we remember most about them, that they enjoyed being there,” Principal Darryl Webb said. “And they did have, you know, a lot to learn and a future ahead of them.”

As Webb reflected on the loss of two students, he remembered Ne’Veah Garner, 5, and Tayona Te'Neese Robinson, 7, who died in a house fire in April.
