The AI camera system will rapidly identify defects in roads and footpaths, including potholes, cracks, litter, overhanging vegetation and even roadkill.

The AI system will include photographic evidence mapped with a GPS location, and from there all defects will be rated on a scale of severity to help prioritise maintenance work.
