FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- With the statewide special election for Proposition 50 just two weeks away, Attorney General Rob Bonta shared a message to California voters.
"The right to freely cast your vote and have it counted is the very foundation of our democracy," Bonta said.
The single-item ballot will decide whether or not California's current congressional district maps will be replaced by new boundaries, drawn by the state legislature.
Monday marked the final day to register to vote in advance of the election, although voters can still complete the Same-Day Voter Registration process and request their ballot in person through election day.
The number of in-person sites will be more limited.
