In a pressing environmental concern, the air quality in various parts of Haryana was categorized as 'very poor' on Tuesday, while neighboring Punjab saw its air quality fall into the 'poor' category.
According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Bahadurgarh in Haryana recorded the worst air quality with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 358 at 8 am. The situation was similarly dire in Jind, where the AQI was reported at 350, followed by Gurugram's Sector 51 and Vikas Sadan with AQIs of 348 and 325, respectively.
