Drivers over aged 60 have been urged to come forward to improve their driving skills - ahead of tougher road rules for drivers and motorists in England under the Labour Party government.

Knowsley Council is inviting residents aged 60 and over to a free road safety event on Wednesday, 5 November. The event will take place at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park, Longview Drive, from 10am to 2.30pm.

The event will include guest speakers sharing real road safety experiences, road safety stalls offering practical advice and free resources and updates on changes to the Highway Code and what they mean for you.
