The Trafford Centre has announced some big changes to its Christmas lights for their 2025 return.

The festive lights will be switched on later this year at the shopping mall - in early November.

Bosses say that decision was made due to customer feedback from some shoppers that felt the lights were switched on "too early" in October.

Last year they were lit in time for the October half term holidays, going live by October 24.

But this year, shoppers will have to wait until Friday, November 7 to see the sparkling lights festooned across the mall.

There will be no switch-on event again this year, instead there will be the return of a huge free Christmas Parade for families to attend on Saturday November 15.
