NEW DELHI: Punjab's former director general of police Mohammad Mustafa, his wife Razia Sultana, a former minister from the state, are among four people booked by Haryana Police in connection with the death of their son. The FIR has been registered under Sections 103 (1) and 61, covering murder and criminal conspiracy charges. Mustafa and Sultana’s 35-year-old son, Akil Akhter, died in Panchkula, Haryana, on Thursday. According to the FIR lodged by a man named Shamshuddin, Akhter’s death occurred under “suspicious circumstances”. Panchkula police on Tuesday confirmed that Mustafa, Sultana, and Akhter’s sister have been booked in the case.
