PORT ANGELES — Multiple barns were destroyed by a fire that required six agencies to extinguish, Clallam County Fire District 2 officials said.

No injuries were reported.

Firefighters were dispatched at 11:08 p.m. Friday to a barn fire in the 3900 block of Mount Pleasant Road. The first arriving unit found a large hay barn fully involved with flames spreading to nearby grass and outbuildings, Fire District 2 officials said.

Due to the size of the fire and exposure risks, a general alarm was requested along with mutual aid from neighboring agencies.

A limited water supply required the use of water tenders and shuttle operations from the nearest hydrant at the bottom of Mount Pleasant Road, Fire District 2 officials said. Once the water supply was established, crews worked to extinguish
