Sorry, Hellfire Club enthusiasts — Joseph Quinn ‘s Eddie Munson won’t be coming back from the dead in “ Stranger Things ” Season 5.

The Duffer Brothers confirmed in a new interview with Empire that despite rumors swirling, Munson’s story ended in the show’s fourth season. The actor — who broke out in “Stranger Things” and went on to star in “Gladiator II” and “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” — played it coy at a recent fan convention in Belgium, saying “I do know, but I’m not telling you” ( via ScreenRant ) when asked if his character could make a return.
