Here in West Texas, and I assume some other places, we judge people on shopping-cart etiquette.
At the supermarket, you push your cart to the car, unload it and wheel it back into the store or, at minimum, the nearest cart corral. Leave the cart just anywhere, and it speaks to a lack of character or, specifically, a lack of consideration for others.
I'm sure of this, though: There are people who'll rightly cast aspersions on another fellow's lazy shopping-cart etiquette but happily create a lot of needless work for people trying to earn a little something extra on Saturdays at Jones AT&T Stadium .
