The United States Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward up to $150,000 for any information that leads to an arrest of the person responsible for shooting a postal employee outside the Jefferson Road post office in Henrietta last week .
The agency announced the reward this week. The postal service employee was s hot while he was sitting in his own vehicle parked in the employee parking lot around 12:40 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16. The employee was taken to an area hospital, treated and released, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
The victim and his vehicle were both struck with gunfire
The shooter fled the area in a dark-colored SUV before emergency responders arrived at the scene. No charges have been filed in connection with the incident.
