INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after a man was killed and a woman was injured in a shooting on Indianapolis' near south side Tuesday morning.
The shooting was reported around 5:45 a.m. Oct. 21 in the 1600 block of East Tabor Street , near East Raymond and Shelby streets.
IMPD Ofc. Tommy Thompson said a woman who was shot drove away to seek help down the street near Raymond and Shelby. According to police, the car the woman was driving had been shot. She was described as "stable" and "awake and breathing" at a local hospital.
That woman directed officers to an alleyway north of Tabor Street, where they found a man with a gunshot wound(s) who was pronounced dead at the scene, Thompson said.
On Oct. 22, the Marion County Coroner's Office identified the man as 34-year-old Zachary
