ECONOMY, Pa. —

Firefighters continued to put out hot spots at a home in Economy, Beaver County, after a fire broke out early Tuesday morning.

Dispatchers confirm to Pittsburgh's Action News 4 that police, fire and EMS were called to the house on Freedom Road around 4:38 a.m. Advertisement

Economy Volunteer Fire Department Capt. Matthew Books said there were several factors that made this particular fire tough to put out.

"The placement of the house, the fact that there's power lines everywhere. We couldn't get up through here until we got some stuff moved around, got things situated, apparatus coming in and all that. It all plays a crucial role into where we're going to place stuff," Books said.

He added that overgrown trees and branches also caused problems.
