A lawsuit filed more than two years ago by a private school against the Oklahoma State Board of Education and then-state schools Superintendent Ryan Walters can continue, although an Oklahoma County judge has dismissed a part of the case as moot.

District Judge Don Andrews ruled, in an order signed Oct. 13, that the school, Infinity Generation Generals Preparatory School in Oklahoma City, can continue to pursue its claim that the board and Walters violated the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act during an August 2023 meeting in which the board revoked Infinity’s accreditation.
