The Andaman & Nicobar Police observed National Police Commemoration Day with solemnity and honour today, paying tribute to police personnel across the country who laid down their lives in the line of duty.

A Commemoration Day Parade was held at the Parade Ground, Police Lines, where Mr. Hargobinder Singh Dhaliwal, IPS, Director General of Police (A&N Islands) , led the wreath-laying ceremony. Senior officers of the A&N Police, families of martyrs, and retired Deputy Superintendents of Police attended the event to pay homage to the fallen heroes.
