MINNEAPOLIS — The community is showing up to support Fletcher's Ice Cream & Cafe after a man allegedly threw Molotov cocktails at the northeast Minneapolis business on both Sunday and Monday.

Despite the boarded-up window, the doors were open Tuesday morning at Fletcher's.

"The city has my heart and I'm so, so grateful for all of this support," said Jason Fletcher, owner and founder of Fletcher's Ice Cream & Cafe.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, around 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, a man got out of his minivan and threw a lit Molotov cocktail at Fletcher's. Fletcher said it happened just six minutes after his employees left. It broke through the window and set some chairs on fire. People at Mac's Industrial Sports Bar nearby put out the flames.
