We’ve all been asked the question as kids: “What do you want to be when you grow up?”
For NDSU offensive lineman Nate Tastad, he answered that question all the way back in third grade — in remarkable detail. Ever since, he’s been chasing — and living — the dream he put on paper.
Wearing the green and gold colors is not new for Tastad. He has been doing it his whole life.
"My dad played here for a little bit and every Saturday we were watching the games at home," said Nate. "I grew up a Bison fan. My whole family is a Bison family. Basically, that's where it stems from for sure."
His dream to play football for North Dakota State can be traced back as early as elementary school and a three-page paper predicting his athletic journey.
