A 1970s Sean Connery film hailed as a "masterpiece" is set to air later today (Tuesday, 21st October) on Film 4. ‌

The legendary Scottish actor, who died in 2020, is most famous for becoming the original face of Ian Fleming's suave secret agent James Bond on cinema screens. ‌

Yet one of his most celebrated movies, which hit cinemas in 1976 boasting a stellar ensemble cast, has largely faded from public memory in the years since. ‌
