100 Years Ago, 1925: Dedication of the Ninth Street bridge as a memorial in memory of the boy from Chester who saw service in the World War, was advocated by Colonel Frank Hyatt of the Pennsylvania Military College at the meeting of the Chester Rotary Club yesterday. The proposal was well received by members of the club and will be discussed again at next week’s meeting. “What we need is a bronze tablet some place in Chester where it will be seen by the families of the boys who gave their lives and by all the people,” said Colonel Hyatt.
