A Philadelphia woman was held over for court in absentia Monday for allegedly crashing into three cars last year in Upper Darby while driving under the influence.
Lakia T. Mitchell, 24, is charged with DUI general impairment as a first offense, accidents involving damage to unattended vehicles, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving with a suspended or revoked license. A charge for possession of a small amount of marijuana was dismissed.
Magisterial District Judge Harry J. Karapalides heard from the owner of one of the vehicles struck on the night of Dec. 6, 2024, in the 200 block of Kent Road.
