CARL JUNCTION, Mo. — The third-seeded McDonald County Mustangs fell short Monday night, dropping an 8-7 game to the fourth-seeded Belton Pirates in their Class 4 District 7 championship softball game at Carl Junction High School.
The Pirates (23-13) got off to a hot start, plating four runs in the first, three of those coming when Makayla McConnell hit a three-run double to left field. ×
