Corrects victim's age and place of residence
ELKINS, W.Va. (WV News) — West Virginia State Police are seeking information from the public about a fatal motor vehicle crash that killed a Randolph County woman in the early hours of Saturday.
Amber N. Shreve, 38, of Beverly, was identified as the victim, according to the State Police Elkins Detachment. Shreve was struck by a vehicle while she was on Back Road in Mill Creek.
The State Police and the West Virginia Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed the victim's identity.
The cause of the crash and the circumstances surrounding the incident are under active investigation.
