The Met Office has issues a 21 hour yellow rain warning for 84 areas of the UK on Thursday, October 23 - including in Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Weather experts have flagged a risk of heavy rain for southern and eastern parts of Britain, as the organisation has highlighted that flooding of a few homes and business is "likely."

A yellow wind alert is also in place for other parts of the UK as the autumn season well and truly continues in full swing.

Detailing the weather forecast Britain can expect tomorrow, the Met Office website states: "A complex area of low pressure over the mid-Atlantic early this week is expected to move towards the UK whilst deepening, but confidence in the details of its track and intensity as it crosses the UK remains fairly low.
